In here I get something new that mathematic can be used to cash out gosh. But if I in that position possible I will run. But something that I interest is as mathematician,  we must understand about a material completely and can analyze a problem in our daily life. The mathematician in that paper is can analyze a word that ben said by gosh in a mathematic concept.

I totally agree with Mr. Marsigit that it is the time to teacher understand what is the needed from the student. The student is not a something that only filled by knowledge from the teachers. But they are want to develop by own power. I think this paper must be read by teacher or someone who want to be a teacher in Indonesia so they are can understand what the student wanted, education like what that they are want.  If the teacher have know that I think the students will easy to understand about the material.

I agree with Mr Marsigit that if we want to revitalize education in Indonesia, that should be changed is the paradigm that the teacher is not a giver of knowledge but the facilitator of learning mathematic in the classroom. So every student is given freedom to develop something that been understand in mathematic. Teacher will be required when students have difficulty in study mathematic or understanding a material. So the math is not a knowledge that given by teachers but a knowledge that was studied by the students with help from the teacher if they are fell something that difficult.

I think in the process of learning mathematics, especially in the field of mathematics is needed realistic depiction, or visualization of that is intended. As we all know math realistic emphasis on how a student can construct concrete objects and then develop it into a mathematical concept. Therefore is very much needed role of a teacher to create objects that can stimulate students to be open minded and can construct the thing to obtain a mathematical concept. That is why the video tape recorder important, because can help teachers to create objects that are intended.

English Task

Application of advanced alculus in overcoming natural disasters in the form of a volcanic eruption
  Mount Gerandong suddenly erupted, Arif family on the slopes of the mountain not far from the mountain top and no access to transportation that allows him to go quickly from the area. Arif has a simple contour map that he created while walking with his family in the surrounding mountains. Here is the contour map.

























So if we see the contour map depicted what should be done by Arif family to be safe from the volcano eruption, or at least reduce the risk of lava from the volcano?
Answer;

From the contour map can be seen that Arif's house is very likely to be exposed lava flow or lava because the house is located on the side of the steep slopes of the mountain. So one thing that can be done by Arif and his family are the leading places in the region C or D because the area is exactly what is not possible flowed by lava. This is because the nature of the lava which is similar to water that is flowing into the lower place. Lava will quickly go to the home Arif and slower to the point C or D is not a high point but the area is located in a curve that may not be exceeded by the lava flow. If the lava is flows  too much so that the whole mountain passes then it is likely Arif family will not survive. But if not then it is likely that area will not be missed are the C and D so that Arif and his family survived. At least the action could reduce the risk of Arif families affected by lava flows.
